Dan and his wife, Karen, live on the family farm on St. Rt. 87. Together they had managed Sunrise Farm Market, Garden, and Gifts. They have enjoyed raising their three children here in Burton and have lived at their same address for 50 years. Dan has lived in Burton for 71 years.
Dan graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors of Business Management degree and a minor in Aerospace Technology.
Currently Dan serves as liaison to the Zoning Board & Commission, Land Use, and Cemeteries. He is also the representative to the HDAC (Health District Advisory Committee) and an appointee to the CRA Committee (Community Reinvestment Area). Dan has coached Burton Youth League Baseball over the years.
Dan’s term ends in December of 2029.
